For PR and Marketing Firms

A fractional strategic lead on your accounts. Senior writing, financial communications depth, and the work your scope missed.

When firms call us

  • An account has outgrown its day-to-day lead and needs someone senior in the room.

  • A client needs earnings, M&A, or investor communications and nobody on staff has done it.

  • A pitch needs a specialist who can speak credibly to a CFO.

  • An account director is strong on execution and needs strategic cover above them.

  • A client is in trouble and the counsel has to be senior, fast, and calm.

  • You are carrying more work than headcount, and hiring is the wrong answer this quarter.

What we do for firms

Fractional account and strategic lead. I take strategic ownership of an account. Direction, counsel, quality control, and a comprehensive view of what the client actually needs rather than what is on the scope of work.

Senior writing. Bylines, speeches, executive correspondence, board materials, and complex financial and technical material that has to be right the first time.

Financial communications bench. Earnings, guidance, investor messaging, annual reports, and M&A communications. The specialty most PR firms lose pitches over to IR firms, and cannot justify hiring for.

Client-facing counsel. I sit in the rooms where a junior team would be exposed. Twenty-five years of CEO, CFO, board, and general counsel conversations.

New business support. Pitch strategy, positioning, and subject matter expertise in the room when you need a specialist to close a financial services or public company prospect.

Organic account growth. A senior eye on the account finds work the scope did not anticipate. I identify the unmet need, scope it, and hand it to you to sell.

What you are probably wondering

Per-account monthly. A fixed monthly commitment on a named account. Predictable for your budget and for mine, and it is how most of these relationships run.

Retained bench. A standing monthly allocation across whichever accounts need it, with priority access when something breaks.

Project and pitch work. A single pitch, a single deal, a single annual report. Useful as a first engagement if you want to see how I work before committing an account.

Will you take my client? No. I work under a non-solicitation agreement on every agency engagement, and I will sign yours. Firms are a channel I intend to keep, which is worth more to me than any single account.

Whose name is on the work? Yours, unless you prefer otherwise. I work white-label under your brand, or openly as a named specialist on your team. Your call, account by account.
